Bewegungs- und Sportkongress für Übungsleiter:innen und Pädagog:innen in Saalfelden. DESCRIPTION:This weekend is about dancers reclaiming the club. We want to build a welcoming space for dancers\, musiclovers & clubheads. The unifying aspects of Waacking & House Dance (music history\, queer roots\, freedom of expression\, the club) will be in the spotlight of the weekend. The snackish theme will be creatively woven into the program because we believe that food connects people! \nFRIDAY: WARM UP SESSION + SnackAttackStart 18:00@TBA \nThe Warm Up Session will be a welcoming get together for people who travel from afar and already arrive on the day before the main event or simply want to connect! Here you have the opportunity to get to know the local Waacking Community and join their after-session “SnackAttack” ritual. Bring your favorite Snacks & Drinks! \nSATURDAY: WORKSHOPS@sonnensteinloft \nHeld by three Judges\, the Workshops will not be labeled to any specific Dance Style rather than focussing on a specific topic that can be explored in any style(Schedule TBA) \nSATURDAY: MAIN EVENT@TBA \nThis evening will be balancing battle culture & clubbing culture whereby the battle aspect will be staged in a more playful and less competitive manner. The battle system will be 1vs1 for both styles. Between rounds (30 seconds each)\, contestants will have 20 seconds to dance with each other to give the battle a more social twist. Each of the three Judges will sit on one side of the dancefloor to encourage dancers to move multi-dimensionally.(Timeline TBA) \nSUNDAY: LUNCHStart 12:00@salonschifffräuleinflorentine \nHere’s the time to connect\, chat and snack!
